"This five-day short course provides you with a broad understanding of the space sector by exploring: – Why the space sector is important - socially, economically and politically – Why it's relevant to study in the context of systems engineering. The course costs £1,433
In this introductory webinar, participants are provided with an overview of carbon monitoring for terrestrial ecosystems. This includes background information about the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventories, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and development of the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+) program. This course reviews products from Landsat, MODIS, and Sentinel, and other sensors commonly used for land management applications.
In this advanced webinar, participants will learn how to acquire, use, and derive NDVI imagery from Landsat and MODIS. Weekly webinars will include lectures, hands-on demonstrations of exercises, and written instructions on how to conduct the exercises. The exercises will use QGIS, a cross-platform open source GIS application.
